I guess I can wait till then. But do you think they will annouce at WWDC, and then say Shipping soon or something, like they did in january? It's anybody's guess. They are due a refresh. And with Merom already shipping it's a 50-50 chance Steve will do that. I'm saying September 12 Paris is the latest. WWDC August 7 is certainly possible. I have no clue if he will or not. Anyone else here have a clue? If so, they're probably pulling it out of their butt. :D  :p ;)

Distribution of Mac OS X Lion through the Mac App Store would of course not be a surprise
But will be greeted with outrage here anyway, just you watch.

According to the OP, we should be setting up our turns like this:
The team can use the "Explore" action to discover, and disarm, the trap harmlessly. This means the team will be advised to manipulate their turns so that they enter, AND explore, a room before their turn ends.
Also, I'm with Aggie. We shouldn't split up until we are more powerful.

If Apple was found to be abusing its position... yes. But this is NOT my point, my point was 'countries start to investigate Apple due to a shortage of components due to Apple buying up the available stock for a prolonged period of time'. This is very different from Apple being found guilty etc etc.
Abusing what position.
Its simple supply and demand.
NOTHING is stopping RIM from going to the manufacturers and offering MORE money than Apple. NOTHING.
On the other side, the manufacturers cannot make enough panels to keep up with Apple (Apple's customers) demand for the panel (the iPad).
In any business if you want more of something quicker when it is in limited supply the cost is going to go up.
It has nothing to do with abusing market position.

I'm sure it will be sold in store as well. I just can't see apple cutting Amazon & all the other apple resellers out of the deal.

I'll believe it when I see it.
Right now it seems like we are just saying Maybe it will come out on X date! and every time we are wrong we move it to Y date and eventually we WILL get it right and say Z date but that would be after 3 months

So stupid. Again, the press just making news out of no news. If they'd do their research, they'd know that all cell phones are tracked by tower pings.
Apple just need to encrypt the file and all will be good. Otherwise, who cares???

I suppose we are all relying on Apple to do what they do best: To give us what we want, to not skimp on performance regardless of cost, and to provide us with the best hardware in the world. Don't let us down.

The GeForce 7300GT is more than adequate to power a Final Cut edit session, edit multi-track audio, surf the web or email, while working on a 30" LCD and a 23" LCD.
Not everyone is going to use a powerful card for gaming, and I wouldn't want to pay more than I need for my uses.

...it was the same for Creative, Real and now Palm...they are almost dead with their crappy PDAs
I like my Treo a lot. But what i really want is its capabilities (better executed) in a phone the size of a RAZR or Samsung A900. Maybe that can be done, maybe not.

Unsurprising.
At least 95% of rumors posted here and other Apple-related forums end up being wrong.
That's not hard to believe.

I'm sure this will make Apple think about having multiple production locations for all components.

Makes sense, all Apple needs is the cloud.
If it is indeed free, this is a welcomed change.

The past year my right eye's vision has decreased. Interestingly enough that is around when i got my iphone 4, can lack of my eye working and the phone making it easier make my vision worse? Probably not and just a coincidence.
Anyway i wonder if apple will do the whole "It is a 500$ upgrade for retina" thing or it will just be a thing all mbp's have.

Actually, you can get by with a mid/high level iMac now for most graphic design needs (photoshop, illustrator, etc) these days and even average video editing needs
Not if you care about colo[u]r management. While Apple continues its love affair with shiny screens, creatives need an alternative.

This isn't surprising news considering that Lion will be running on a new 27-inch iMac screen.

Not. Gonna. Happen. The tablet market is very small, and for good reason. Why use a tablet when a laptop fits the bill? Or a PDA? It's a glorified scribble toy. Apple's not going to try and grab such a miniscule market. There's no reason to even try.
As people mentioned, one could have said the same thing about mp3 players before the iPod.

I 2nd this.
Why not update them too? I understand that the MBP is PRO but still. What would the MB's be getting then as far as an update at some point?
oh, the MB will get Merom, probably just not for a little while. The MBP has been shipping for 6 months, the MB for only 2. The MBP looks a little weak on price/performance compared to similar PC laptops; the MB holds up very well in price/performance comparisons. The MB is still selling so well apple can hardly keep the white models in stock, whereas demand for the MBP is much lower.
So rest assured, the MB will see Merom, but the MBP will see it first. Probably soon. :)

This article definitely made me laugh. In a way good for Apple but on the other hand less competition is not good for us consumers.

Go here...
http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wo/0.RSLID?mco=925997E8&nclm=MacBookPro
Down towards the bottom of that page for the MBP where you read all about the computer and what it does, there's a bolded subheading that reads "It's Showtime." IMac and Mac Mini are the only other systems that offer a similar description, but their description heading says "Put on a Show."
That is a little odd, since they're basically all describing the same thing. Why would the MBP say "It's Showtime" yet the iMac and Mac Mini descriptions use "Put on a Show?" How long have these read this way? Is this old or new? Does it have something to do with tomorrows' event, or nothing at all?
Hmmm... very intersting.
Reaching? Coincidence? Apple being coy?
Some what-was-his-name?-intern...
